I tried to make a mod with letters where you put letters in a custom crafting table and the word you made transforms into a minecraft item. But I don't know how to make a custom GUI recipe. I watched the tutorials and also tried the templates but nothing worked... I even tried the recipe with the "craft" button and connected it to the procedure but it also didn't work. Please help me!

which version are you using?
to connect a procedure you need to save the procedure then try to connect them.
