Blockbench models not working with MCreator
Wed, 11/24/2021 - 01:21 (edited)

I tried using blockbench to make a custom entity, but when I make it into an entity it says something is wrong with it. I don't know what is wrong, since I don't know code and can't really read it well. I was reading through the build log and at the bottom it says "Execution failed for task ':compile java' " Please help me, since it took a while to make the model and I really want to see it in-game.

Update: It happened again, same reason as last time. Please help.

I exported it as a .java file, but thats pretty much it. The exporting from blockbench worked fine, im just confused since everytime I put the model into the entity maker with the texture, after I go back to the area to see all elements, it says something is wrong.

Is your model for 1.17.1? If yes, go to Blockbench, open your model, go to >> File >> Project and change Export Version to 1.17, save it and try to import it to MCreator. If that is not the case, I will need more information in order to assist you. Blockbench and MCreator have many version, meaning every case is different.
