All my JAVA models are gone

I updated mcreator and I wanted to work on my robot apocalypse mod (that has tons of different mobs)
I noticed all the models are gone. A little annoying but nothing terrible. So I go to re add the models and it says its not compatible with the generator. "Make sure you are exporting your java model from the modeler you use for the right minecraft versions mapping type." What do I do? All my work is gone...
