Topic category: Troubleshooting, bugs, and solutions
Hi. The program is driving me crazy. The first time it didn't give me any problems. Then I wanted to create a new project and it doesn't want to know that it works. I also deleted the folders on the user profile (.mcreator and the projects folder). I also put the rule on the firewall and he doesn't want to know. Thanks for those passing by. Sorry for my not so perfect english

The solution to this problem and many other problems can be found in our knowledge base: https://mcreator.net/support/knowledgebase Please check the knowledge base before opening a new topic on the issue which has a known fix.
the problem is that it doesn't work.
I tried disabled windows defender and does not go;
disabled windows firewall and does not go;
I cleaned the 2 folders and it doesn't work;
I can watch videos in 1080p60 and it doesn't work;
i also updated from 2020.2, which was not working, to 2020.5 and not working;
I also put the javaw.exe firewall rule.
The only time it went is when I installed and created the first project.
I don't know what to do and I've been getting nervous for 2 hours and it's gone
Hmm, did you try clearing the gradle folder? If so, please provide the path of the folder you removed so we can make sure it was thr right one
Weird...

"Preferences / Gradle".
Just happened to me... I turned on Run Gradle in Offline mod on and off and it worked i dont know why
@Klemen i also had a similar problem it was the Gradle Website's fault it got fixed
Yesterday I had the same issue (first time in years). Got the popup window stating that my internet connection was down right in the middle of adding some features to my mod. But every other site, streaming, etc. was working fine. Change MCreator to offline mode, and it looks like the issue is gone.
