I have a procedure that activates when entity is hurt with item. It gives and removes the effect on the mob I hit but it removes and adds effects for me too.
you can give it a custom weapon that applies a potion effect to the mob that hit it.
I think I said it incorrectly. I want the entity to be the only one affected when hit with the item. The procedure gives the effects to me and the entity.

I watched the video but it's not what I'm looking for. I want it to give the entity bad effect and take away the good ones from it as well when entity is hurt by the item. The thing is that it takes away my good effects that my armour give me and give me all the bad ones too. I gonna try a different type of procedure and if it works I will tell you
I just realise with my knowledge I can only use when the entity is hit procedure

but ty i am making a projectile instead of a weapon
this procedure will apply what ever effect you choose to the mob that you hit.
