Hello guys,
Does anybody know how to make attack animations for an entity on mcreator? Are there any procedures I can play when the entity is attacking, defining bones and their X,Y,Z rotation during the activation of said procedure? Also, I am aware geckolib works with older versions of mcreator, I just do not think that there is a way I can add the 1.18.2 forge generator to that version.
there unfortunately isn't one at the moment that i am aware of, i have done much researching like you have and it was fruitless. sorry.
I found this tutorial a few weeks ago, but I am not good with this animation coding part (yet). If you understand it, it would be great if you or someone else could explain/describe on how it could be integrated with MCreator. It is a tutorial for Geckolib - Forge 1.18.2 (from May 10, 2022 ). MCreator is not mentioned, but it explains where to place the repositories, dependencies, geo model, texture and animations.

Let me know if you are able to figure it out.
You can change setanimation in entity model code in Intelji Idea for example, it's easy but when you save code you need copy all code, after delete java file and add new java file with this code
I know, it's not understadable but if you have quations say me
