"Get Global:" keeps becoming "Get Global: () for entity:"

in the custom variable tab, i keep trying to grab the "Get Global: (variable)" but every time i grab it, it immediately turns into "Get Global: (variable) for entity: Event/target entity".

someone please help.

This happens if the first entry on the list is variable for an entity. Just select another variable that is not bound to the entity if you don't want that.
