Recently I updated my mod to 1.18. Ofcourse coming with this is the new world generation, which has caused a few problems.
It is generating mountain and ocean alike terrain without me specifing this could happen in terms of world generation. I have been moving 'height variation' around but it's not working at all. I keep getting unwanted terrain and can't make my formerly flat ish biomes flat anymore.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I will put the values of the 2 current biomes and some pictures below.
I noticed the pictures may not work so here's a link to imgur: https://imgur.com/gallery/ZgxoPCO
Biome taiga:
-Height variation: 0
-Base height: 0.4
Biome Swamp:
-Height variation: 0
-Base height: 0.2
I'm having a similar problem. I'm trying to create an ocean biome but no matter what I try, it always generates giant mountains along with it.
Pretty sure I saw something about this on the buglist. Should be fixed in the 2022.3 release.
it isnt
So this isn't fixed yet? They just dropped 1.16.5 support for 2022.3, so I really want to make sure it is fixed before I swap to the new update :)
Use my terrablender plugin, fixes everything.
Oh I might give that a go then! Do you plan to give support on many new mcreator versions in the future?
