I want a structure that takes up several blocks to be in the inventory as one item and placed with one click of the mouse, but mcreator spits out my blender obj files and textures.

Not sure I understand where OBJ comes to play. If you want more than 2x2 blocks, you will need item that simply places structure and not use one block with custom model
