I am making a mod with a series of blocks that (I want to) look the exact same from all directions (Not only on exact north, south, etc. but from all diagonals as well, like an end gateway but without the particles or "stars") but I do not know how to code the model or shader in for that type of block. I have made most of the other blocks and all the other models that I (hopefully) will need. Can someone please help me with my last series of block models?
The only thing I can think of needing for this code is using a Custom Element, but I have no idea what code to put in to it.
Try making the block shiny, so if the entire texture is the same color it will look the same everywhere. It is an idea that has occurred to me and I do not know if it is what you were looking for but I did not understand very well the idea that you have in mind
I am using a stone brick based texture, but Ill see how that looks anyways
That method did not work
I'm bumping this as I too am curious on how to make this. I hope it will be added as a feature someday.
