Hello! I have a weapon that summons lightning on right click, that's all fine and dandy and all but I was wondering if it's possible to have just the lightning spawn without thunder. Is this just a Minecraft thing that I can't do anything about or is this possible to do, and if possible how would I go about doing this? I'm trying to add my own sound effect is why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm unsure if there is a way to do this outside of using code to do it, which I'm not versed in to explain how to do that. However, the thunder sound is tied with the lightning sound and so Minecraft does automatically play the sound when lightning strikes regardless of the circumstances.
I am well aware of why you would want this though as it is a bit annoying if someone is using the tool/weapon thousands of blocks away and you can still hear it.
I have no idea how to code so that's a shame. Thanks for responding though!
