I have a problem with this block I did in blockbench and exported into mcreator with new Geckolib
And this block don't want to rotate correctly (by block face dunswe) as you see on pic. Does it has something with pivot point? If not then what's wrong?
Try different rotations. Probably something to do with how geckolib handles them, since I did not make any changes to those in the animated block element.
Well, I solved it by changing rotation both model and block. So yeah, it worked.

There is an orig model from pics (textures a bit wrong but whatever) if it has any value for that case because I'm still a bit confused about dunswe rotation thing
Trust me, I have no idea what kind of shenanigans geckolib's rotations are up to either.
@kittysatanic how did you fix it? im struglling with it since 6 months...
my rotations are borked, only the nswe work but not the up and down they are misplaced.
you would save my life and my amazing mod !
Well I didn't
Back then I just did a lot of different block with different rotations
And did default block that has rotation and when it placed through procedure it gets rotation and replaced with required block.
But the first model on picture worked with Y axis rotation
