I was looking for a mod that makes it so that minecarts do not break when they turn corners, as they do. The closest thing I have found is this mod which uses a small portion of Railcraft's code. It uses string to couple carts together. However, it is on 1.12.2, but I have found that they have posted some of the source code online in a zip. I have already tried importing it into Mcreator, but it says that it isn't a valid workspace. How am I supposed to go about this?
if you are trying to import the zip as a workspace then that would be why because a mods source code is different than a mcreator wokspace zip file.
Well that helps a bit, but would there still be anyway to turn this into something I can edit or work with?
No, you can't turn source code into the MCreator workspace.
You usually also can't just take someone else's work and just work on it until the license allows it
Aw I was hoping there was a way for my computer got corrupted so I lost all my work on my mod but all I have left was the zip file from sharing it with a friend.
