so, in my modi made this thing called 'totem of the soul' and I want to make it so, if you have it and die once you respawn you have your entire inventory except the totem. so basically 1 time use keep invintory and i have no clue where to start making it work.
You will need item mod element, one simple way would be to set gamerule for preserve inventry to true when item in slot, just check before setting so you don't set every tick
