i use 2024.2

In version 2024.2 a generator is not needed to create neoforge mods

ya but i want this version i want to be able to make neoforge 1.20.1 mods

It says it's a imcompatible version and won't load, can you help?

What version are you using the plugin on? As far as what I see, this plugin is marked to support 2023.3

I use 2024.1

NeoForge is already supported for 1.20.4 in 2024.1 and the 1.20.1 version of both Forge and NeoForge are compatible with each other anyways so it doesn't really matter.

Please update for the latest version? 2023.4? since NeoForge is being in the newest version 2024.1

When 2024.1 comes out, will you be making a Forge Generator? As they said they are going to NeoForge xD

In the description it says it is just a copy-paste of the original forge generator, so what are the advantages of using this over the built-in forge generator?

For the moment, there's no advantage as NeoForge tries to keep compatible with Forge for 1.20.1. However, they said they will start making major changes to the Forge's code starting with the next update/version of Minecraft.

said it failed to load for 2023.3 "Reason: Incompatible version"

If you read the mod page, you would see this text in bit letters: "Require 2023.3 3rd snapshot (not available yet)"

You can use "import" statement to import templates from Forge generator so you don't have to maintain that many things :)
