Need help with a duplication procedure

I've scoured the whole internet to find an example of a functioning item duplication system and tried all of the ones I've found didn't work and even tried dissecting a mcreate mod  so at this point i don't know what to do. no one like to provide even a simple screenshot of a working procedure that will help. but knowing these forums no help will come.
