I do not want to override motion so I cannot use attempt to override motion vector, and using tp command would probably make the entities phase through walls

if this is only for entities there is a block called "attempt to make target entity find path" which will make them walk to the location you want them to.
This is also for the player
Then I can only suggest motion override, there isn't much to moving the player at least with the blocks Mcreator provides, you'd might need custom code.
