I am working on my first content mod, called Craft++.
I already have a good amount of stuff already, list below. But I'm looking for new ideas and feedback on existing/unadded ideas.
Stuff already added:
-Aloe vera; spawns in dry biomes, used to make lime dye and bandages.
-Abysmal bulbs; flowers that spawn in the end, used to make cyan dye and have a chance to drop eyes of ender.
-Freezer; redstone powered block that generates 1 ice every 10 seconds, cannot function in dry biomes
-Pickaxe heads and molds; molds can be crafted from any common material, can be combined to make large amounts of pickaxe heads. Pickaxe heads stack to 16 and can be crafted into pickaxes with just a stick. Allows the player to have more inventory space when trying to bring multiple pickaxes on mining trips.
-Recipes for iron, golden, diamond horse armor.
-Recipe for gilded blackstone.
-Lore items that are granted after major milestones.
-Music discs of good songs
Stuff I plan to add:
-Moonblooms; nocturnal glowing flowers that grow in swamps/mangrove forests, used to make purple dye.
-Brick, chiseled, pillar variants of blocks that don't have them.
-Make automation possible for as many materials as possible.
-Cool structures
Idea: Something that I think would be a cool addition to your mod given it's vanilla+ nature would be dyed wood, like in the Quark Mod. Just something to consider.
idea: more mobs. Ghosts, stone golem, snakes.
Knifes, bone tools.
Effects: issue of blood,
disease (no regenerating, healing by: your opinion).
sky islands, new ores.
backpacks!
I'm ran out of ideas... Maybe add more enchantments?
casting machine. You can use it to make steel and bronze. Bronze tools better than stone tools, but worse than iron tools. Steel better and faster than iron tools, but worse than diamond tools.
