MCreator generator plugin for Minecraft Forge 1.19.2 Java Edition mods/Datapack.

This Generator is built over the old official generator, but this one is NOT official, and is not being maintained by the MCreator Team.

NOTE:

From MCreator 2024.2 the folders where the textures are contained have changed: Blocks -> Block, Items -> Item, this change is necessary to have the functionality to refer to vanilla Minecraft textures

Why should i use this generator?

If you are using this version of minecraft, you will have many more features than those present in MCreator 2023.2, the generator will have full support so if there are any bugs they will be fixed etc. (unlike 2023.2 which is no longer supported). The generator also has a lot of backports (from new versions of MCreator to this one) regarding bug fixes on the generator. If you want to export your mod for multiple versions this generator is for you!

The bug comes from GeckoLib and not the generator

Seems like 1.19.2 can't use a Gradle version that's higher than 8 or something. not sure

Still don't know if this is a me issue or not.

Fixed it on 1.19.4 by copying all the gradle related files from the last 1.19.4 snapshot build. Seems like you might have included the wrong gradle files with these or something.

the gradle of 1.19.4 is identical to that of 1.19.2

I mean I have the issue with both generators but when I copied the gradle files over from the last official 1.19.4 generator it worked which is strange. But why I figured it might be the wrong files included is because they're look the same as the 1.20.1+

May I ask how you specifically resolved the issue? I did not successfully address the issue according to your description

I downloaded the latest official 1.19.2 generator from the snapshots page (the version that still supported 1.19.2) and went in to that generator folder then below "workspacebase" I replaced most things in that folder relating to gradle and opened and changes some numbers (mostly on 1.19.2 as I changed the 1.19.4 to 1.19.2 in the files)

hey the new plugin version doesn't work with mcreator 2024.1 is there anything you can do to fix this

Greetings, I can't get the generator to run the client.

It will be fixed in the next release

Dimension don't work. Whenever I want to create one it just gives me the typical error that it could not be compiled (in every new workspace)

It has never given me errors, if you can attach me a screenshot of the error it gives you I could understand how to fix it

there is bug where if you try to display entities in gui, it gives error
