MCreator generator plugin for Minecraft Forge 1.16.5 Java Edition mods/Datapack.

This Generator is built over the old official generator, but this one is NOT official, and is not being maintained by the MCreator Team.

NOTE:

From MCreator 2023.1 upwards the generator works better if the old biome generation is present
From MCreator 2023.4 upwards to refer to all the biomes of a dimension just put the "is_yourdimensionid" tag
From MCreator 2024.2 the folders where the textures are contained have changed: Blocks -> Block, Items -> Item, this change is necessary to have the functionality to refer to vanilla Minecraft textures

Why should i use this generator?

If you are using this version of minecraft, you will have many more features than those present in MCreator 2022.2, the generator will have full support so if there are any bugs they will be fixed etc. (unlike 2022.2 which is no longer supported). The generator also has a lot of backports (from new versions of MCreator to this one) regarding bug fixes on the generator. If you want to export your mod for multiple versions this generator is for you!

If you manage to get 1.16.5 to 2024.1 will getting it to 2024.2 from 2024.1 be easy? As I'm thinking of updating to 2024.2 soon.

just updated the 2023.1 version and now most of my procedures have errors. No matter what I do(regenerate or try to build the workspace), the errors still remain

in my case i only have problem whit the gradle demon to load plugins, im trying diferent ways to resolve it, i will post again when i try all traditionals ways.

i fixed my problem removing all the plugins external that i have, i tested arround 5 plugins and they outdate and updates versions, and any plugin external didnt works, also if i configure them whit file modd dependency, but if i remove all external plugins like gecko, curios or same externals plugins, and removing cache for gradle forder now works good!

I understand that your workspace works with many plugins but those could be the cause of your problem

That's a problem since I need the Attribute and Addition(for damagesource) plugins as the mod won't work without it

try making a copy of the workspace and see if removing it would work

Did exactly that an procedures as simple as spawning an entity causes an error, adding the plugins back one by one also did not change a single thing.

For right now I've decided to use my oldest backup(before I updated the 1.16.5 plugin) and used the older version of the 1.16.5 plugin just so I am able to work on my mod again. Tried everything i could think of and still no luck, so I'm reverting back to the older version for the time being.

I've been getting memory leaks whenever I put a mod from the generator in a multiplayer server(singleplayer seems to work just fine) don't know if thats a bug
