First of all I love the Smart Mode of the Autocomplete Dropdown Menu because it helps a lot.
But I cannot work with it because this Smart Mode if it tries to load a bunch of Autocomplete Options it freezes up to maybe 30 Seconds to 1 Minute straight and takes so much time away.
This is ridiculous. Yeah I have a Low End PC but even Intellij Idea Autocomplete Dropdown Menu is more optimized!

You can disable the the autocomplete automatic popup in preferences and make it only popup on shortcut or never.
This is quite a stretch comparing commercial-tier IDE against software provided for free :)
Actually is there a way to optimize it without changing the Mode?
Unfortunately not. The library we use for autocomplete is externally developed
