My game keeps freezing on the red loading screen, but I can still click the buttons and interact with the menu screen. This happens when I use my custom model that I created in Blockbench, which is inside a Java file. When I turn the model back into the basic biped model, it seems to fix the issue. I've tried everything but nothing seems to help the situation. I cant find helpful responses inside of existing posts either.
My model contains some completely flat assets that is basically as thin as paper. I've tried deleting them, but that didnt help either. There are also some overlapping assets, but im not sure if that is what is causing the issue.
If anyone has information on what is going on and how to stop it, please reply. Thank you!
No not really, I don’t believe I’ve downloaded any applications or anything that could interfere with Blockbench and mcreator. I could just re-install Mcreator and see if it fixes it
I’m gonna try reinstalling Mcreator to see if it helps maybe I deleted some important code
ok, tell me if it fixes anything
Im not sure but i think the problem might be because my geckolib is 5.8.1 and my mcreator version is 2024.2 so they're non compatible
Which is strange since I can swear that I downloaded 5.8.2
Now i dont know how to update it
This is really strange my model doesnt have any custom animations and theres no reason why it shouldnt be working
if it dosent have any custom anymation copy and convert the project to a modded entity, or try to reinstall geckolib again. So sorry im not able to help much but i've never encoutered an error like this
Try not putting a folder inside of a folder in Blockbench. It should be just a folder than ur blocks and no folder after that. For geckolib this fixed the same issue I was having
I'll try that!
Thank you everyone for trying to help, I appreciate it a lot! :)
IT WORKS!!! Now I just have to fix the texture and eveything. Tysm everyone!
I did the same, but it still isn't working for me ):
I deleted the mob and its models, but the game still doesn't load. I double-checked and I'm using the right version of the GeckoLib plugin. I'm so confused
Does this only happen when using geckolib?
If u completely got rid of the mob and the model then the mob itself may not be the issue you are facing. It might be something else in your mod that is causing this. Does it crash when u get to the red screen?
