Get return value of executed command

Get return value of executed command

So basically, the idea is that you type in a command to be executed by either an entity or at an XYZ location and it returns the value of the command as a number.

So something like execute if entity @e would return the number of entities. Another example would be /say test and it would return whether or not the command was successfully executed.

YES. My use case:
Want to check gravity state with gravity mod, there is this command:
/Gravity get @p
Which returns the gravity of the player, but cannot figure out how to get this to work :(
