The Fabric developers are really open, and I think they would be a big help in adding native Fabric support, as Fabric is fairly easy to use. I much prefer it over Forge, as Forge is not that well maintained, and its developers are somewhat secluded.

I don't think Fabric developers would be willing to develop a generator for their mod loader for MCreator.
It is not a matter of know-how, but a matter of time. I physically don't have enough hours in a day to also maintain Fabric generator.
If you find someone willing to develop this, they may be ready to do it, but unfortunately I am busy enough working on one modding API at this time
