MCreator won't start (any) – Unsupported JavaFX configuration (2025)

Hi everyone,

I'm having issues launching MCreator 2024.2. When I start the program, I get the following log output:

-

No version of MCreator, whether older or newer than 2024.2, works for me. None of them open, no matter the Windows compatibility settings I use, whether I run them as an administrator, or if I reinstall MCreator completely.
I don't know if modifying userpreferences or preferences files might help, but I haven't found anything related to this issue.

I have been using MCreator for over a year, starting from version 2023.1, and this is the first time I have encountered an issue. It started happening out of nowhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

com.sun.javafx.application.PlatformImpl startup
ADVERTENCIA: Unsupported JavaFX configuration: classes were loaded from 'unnamed module @6c3f5566'

Older versions will print this too, this is warning that can be ignored.

Also make sure you don't have any incompatible plugins installed.

2024.2 is also no longer supported
