Yeah, that, are you, the community taking the modding seriously?
I know, really, it is a good and easy to use (From now called e2u) tool for those people who dont understand programming or haven't a PC capable to support an appropiate forge instalation. But i saw too poor (Without offense) mods. Starting for the names, "The <YOURNAME>'s mod" is not a good name, not as "The <YOURNAME>'s <WHAT_DOES_THE_MOD_DO> mod", that is a good name, i saw (also without offense) a mod named "The laer dimention". As i see, it is a good mod, but the name kills it. Try naming it with somethin like "The laer mod" or "The new world mod" or something like that, creative names. The "<MOD>Craft" could be a good name, but only with certain technical mods, also, "More <THING> mod" is bad..
The logos, i really know why Pylo.co doesn't allow paint images, but that is not the major problem, i saw people that makes truly good and professional images in paint. The major problem is the unprofessionality, the Minecraft images arent good unless they dont show any player in F5 or use shaders, pylo knows it, so the images that they use are good. The UNDERTALE MOD is good too, it is a logo, it explains in not too much words what does it do, the "Supreme mod" haves the problem with the name, the image i could say it is a 50%, he/she could prepare the map a bit more, and dont use mineral blocks as the floor, it is a bad idea in my opinion. Even using the diamond block, its ugly.
Also, only to close it, NEVER add your opinion of your mod in the name, "Supreme mod" or "The good mod" aren't good ideas.
I know, its a mod making software and you aren't professional developers (the majory at least) but try it!
THE MODS MENTIONED AS "BAD" ARE JUST MENTIONED TO CORRECT THEM, NOT TO INSULT THE MODDERS OR THE MOD ITSELF
For the supreme mod, think on what does it add and think a creative mod :D
3 Good Names:
The Obsidian Utilities
Rainbow Armor and Tools
Many Gems and Weapons
3 Bad Names:
Enderium Mod
OP World
Better Minecraft
The mod was completely made up by my friends. It's not much of an opinion, as I had no majority over the votes. I only develop it, and my friends pitch ideas.
(I know I'm late, havn't been active for a long time)
So if they have a bad name, then the mod is bad and they don't take modding seriously?
Huh???
I think it's about the amount of effort you put into the mods you make... So if you make a mod don't just have overpowered armor made of dirt... Put effort and have steps to get items in your mod. Also, Coding / Events are something that makes a mod a good mod, you don't want to have a bunch of plan items, add some spice to it :D
