I was previously using Mcreator version 2024.4. This version supported Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge and I had a project in this version. Then I updated it to version 2025.1. However, Mcreator 2025.1 did not support Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. Thereupon, Mcreator released the Minecraft 1.20.1 add-on for version 2025.1.
QUESTIONS:
The reason I updated from version 2024.4 to version 2025.1 was to use the new features, but since Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 support has been removed, will I be able to use these new features? If not, can I use it if I download the Minecraft 1.20.1 add-on?
At the same time, when I install this add-on, the add-on does not appear in the settings.

Probably through plugins, I saw one with forge 1.20.1 for the version
Official plugin https://mcreator.net/plugin/114284/minecraft-forge-1201-mod-generator supports most of the new features, but not all of them because some of those features are simply not possible in older versions, such as feature generation at exact coordinates
