Metallish Metallic Metals is a simple yet powerful Minecraft mod that enhances the game with three brand-new ores: Radioactive Uranium, Titanium, and Aluminium. Each metal brings unique possibilities—Uranium fuels powerful explosives and reactors, Titanium forges durable light weighted tools and weapons like the mighty Bludgeon, and Aluminium serves as a versatile material. Designed to feel balanced and vanilla-friendly, this mod adds exciting new mining opportunities while keeping gameplay smooth and intuitive. Whether you're crafting, fighting, or experimenting, Metallish Metallic Metals brings a fresh spark to your Minecraft world! Also remember more ores are to be added so slowly introductions will be hard to
Ores Introduction:
Aluminium Ore:
Aluminium is a lightweight yet versatile metal that generates commonly in both deepslate and stone levels, making it an easy resource to gather. While it isn’t strong enough for armor, Aluminium tools and swords are crafted using Aluminium Rods instead of sticks, offering better durability than iron tools but slightly less efficiency.
One of Aluminium’s standout uses is Foil, crafted simply by placing one Aluminium ingot in a crafting grid to produce four Foil. This essential material is key to making Canisters, a unique storage item crafted from four Foil. Canisters store soups and stews, allowing players to stack meals for efficient food storage. Simply place a Canister with a Rabbit Stew, Beetroot Soup, or even a simple flower in the crafting grid to create a fulfilling meal on the go.
Additionally, Aluminium introduces light yet deadly weapons like the Foil Knife and Aluminium Spear, crafted using Aluminium Rods and Foil. These weapons offer a fast and precise combat style, making them a great alternative to traditional swords. With Aluminium, survival becomes more efficient, sustainable, and innovative!
Uranium Ore:
Uranium is a rare, radioactive metal that adds a dangerous edge to your world. Despite its scarcity, uranium is essential for crafting powerful radioactive items. For example, you can create Radioactive TNT by combining five uranium ingots with two sand and two gunpowder—yielding a much larger, more destructive explosive. Additionally, uranium is used to craft a throwable dynamite (we added dynamite: crafted using two arrows and a tnt in between) variant: radioactive dynamite is made by placing one regular dynamite between two uranium ingots. Uranium also enables the creation of Emission Fuel—a durable, high-efficiency fuel crafted from three uranium ingots arranged in a vertical formation. On top of that, the Radiator Blade, a uranium-infused sword, applies a radiation effect which is a harmful mix of nausea, poison, and slowness to enemies on hit, while even standing on uranium blocks will expose players to this dangerous radiation.
Titanium Ore:
Titanium is the final lightweight metal in Metallish Metallic Metals, combining both strength and elegance. It’s used to craft tools and armor that outperform iron but are a touch weaker than diamond, with the added bonus of granting a subtle speed boost when worn. Titanium's versatility shines through in both PvP and decorative applications. You can forge decorative blocks like Tiled Titanium by combining four Titanium blocks(also can be reverted)—which can be turned into slabs, stairs, and walls too. Additionally, by forging a lantern with four Titanium ingots (using either a regular or soul lantern), you create a distinctive Titanium Bulb to light up your builds. The pinnacle of Titanium craftsmanship is the "Bludgeon": by fusing 5 Titanium blocks with four ingots, you form Compact Titanium, which, when using 3 and being paired with an Aluminium Rod and a Titanium Ingot in a pickaxe-shaped recipe, yields a powerful mace variant, "The Bludgeon". This Bludgeon, while having a low attack speed, delivers devastating damage and, when activated with a shift right-click, unleashes a massive smash that stuns and inflicts huge damage on nearby enemies.
Mercury Ore:
Mercury is a unique and versatile metal introduced in this update, featuring dynamic state transitions and hazardous properties. It generates naturally as an ore and can be smelted into ingots, which are crucial for crafting advanced tools like the Heating Crystal Gauge (crafted with two Amethyst Crystals, two Mercury Ingots, and a Fire Charge in a pickaxe shape) and the Cooling Crystal Gauge (crafted the same way but with a Snowball instead of a Fire Charge). Mercury blocks can shift through five distinct states when exposed to heat or cold, eventually transforming into a toxic Mercury Fluid, which can be cooled back into a solid form by surrounding a Mercury Fluid Bucket with four Snowballs. Additionally, Mercury can be used to craft Mercury Dynamite, a toxic explosive that ignites enemies with the Mercury Toxism Effect, created by surrounding a Dynamite with two Mercury Ingots. This metal adds new mechanics to the game, allowing players to manipulate temperature, experiment with volatile reactions, and use its toxicity in combat.
Finally extra details: If you don't figure out the recipes to certain things comment it in this page, we will try and help.
Each ore has regular and deepslate variants
Radiation effect is obtained after excessive standing on top of any uranium block
Aluminium spear can be stacked (it is like a mix of arrows and trident).
Dynamite and Radioactive dynamite have less range than normal ranged weapons
Radioactive TNT doesnt have a primed state and is not an entity as it is already too powerful
Mod can be used in modpacks and mod collections
It is still in development stage so some things may change.
Please enjoy the Cwazy Mwod!
