MCreator generator plugin for Minecraft Forge 1.19.2 Java Edition mods/Datapack.

This Generator is built over the old official generator, but this one is NOT official, and is not being maintained by the MCreator Team.

NOTE:

From MCreator 2024.2 the folders where the textures are contained have changed: Blocks -> Block, Items -> Item, this change is necessary to have the functionality to refer to vanilla Minecraft textures

Why should i use this generator?

If you are using this version of minecraft, you will have many more features than those present in MCreator 2023.2, the generator will have full support so if there are any bugs they will be fixed etc. (unlike 2023.2 which is no longer supported). The generator also has a lot of backports (from new versions of MCreator to this one) regarding bug fixes on the generator. If you want to export your mod for multiple versions this generator is for you!

Hi, in 2025.1 here and I know you patched it in 1.5.2 but the creative tabs are messing up the code or whatever, I'll post the error in the GitHub and do some experimenting.

forge 1.19.2 2024.4 doesn't seem to allow adding new element types. Code blocks are available, but without the element, they're useless. My only real concern is configuration files. That plugin is almost as essential as this one.

This plugin only adds 1.19.2 generator

Yeah, but with mcreator 2024.2 this plugin was fully compatible with the additional plugin Configuration Files, as well as mostly compatible with most other plugins for 2024.2. In 2024.4, there's no new mod elements to select from no matter what plugin I add, not configs, not mixins, nothing. This is clearly a bug with the 1.19.2 2024.4 generator, but for all I know it's mcreator bugged out and not this plugin, and you can't do anything about it.

I'm not the one who supports those plugins, it's the creators who release them

Just as I feared, mcreator level bug the other plugin creators should be working on. If only they were as responsive as you are. Thanks.

Also noticed that I have trouble running the mod outside the development environment, I think Forge 1.19.2 requires a no-argument constructor for the main class.
