This generator is tested with automatic tests provided by MCreator, tests make the generator more stable.

This generator is built over the old official generator, but this one is NOT official, and is not being maintained by the MCreator Team.

This is a fork of the original forge 1.20.1 plugin.

Why should I use this generator?

If you are using this version of minecraft, you will have many more features than those present in MCreator 2024.4, the generator will have full support (for what it can support) so if there are any bugs they will be fixed etc. (unlike 2024.4 which is no longer supported). The generator also has a lot of backports (from new generators to this one). If you want to export your mod for multiple versions this generator is for you!

any variable i have in a procedure doesn't work makes the build fail.
it says: error: cannot find symbol

i get an issue with task:createminecraftartifacts, i followed the installation guide, it says i should have java 17 installed, when i tried to replace jdk folder to java 17 (from 21) the mcreator could not open

Java is installed automatically, please make sure that you are using the latest plugin version

Hi. I was wondering if you could launch a Neoforge 1.20.1?

NeoForge for 1.20.1 was abandoned by the NeoForge team in favor of letting Forge take care of that, so no I wouldn't expect to see a generator for that version, you can see that if you go to their website the earliest builds are for 1.20.2 now.
