Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
I cant get create to work on 2025.3 for 1.20.1. Can't find any appropriate Create APIs or any help on this topic. Also, I am NOT downloading another MCreator version. I don't want to lose all my progress again, and it's too long of a process to redownload all my APIs, plugins, update all my projects and I just don't want to do that. Any help is greatly appreciated!
As far as I am aware, you literally only have four options.
Option A, learn java and code it all yourself.
Option B, wait and hope that someone makes a Create API plugin for the MCreator version you want to use at the time.
Option C, use the advice in parts 2 and 3 of https://mcreator.net/forum/82751/ultimate-integration-guide-how-use-other-mods-resources-workspace-workarounds to make recipes using Create items and Crafting mechanics.
Option D, downgrade to 2025.1 and use https://mcreator.net/plugin/108660/create-api-1201-and-1191 (I haven't tested it myself, but it might help). Also, yes, I know you said you wouldn't do this, that's why this is option D.
There may be something else that I'm not aware of, maybe even some other plugin, but if there is, it isn't easy to find.
