I once again wish to bring to the staff's attention the fact that doing ANYTHING with a mod, down to proofreading the description, will place it back on the new mods list. I personally worry that I will be branded as purposely making meaningless changes in order to keep my mods on the list. My suggestion would be making it so that it only reappears on new mods if the mod files or changelogs are altered.
New mods list https://mcreator.net/modifications is only updated when new mod is added at this time
Sorry I meant when you are in a mod page or something there is a side bar "New Minecraft Mods" with one showing for each category. So much as proofreading the description of your mod will put it back up there.
I see, this is intentional, so updated mods are not forgotten :)
I understand that, but here is what I mean: If mods are actually updated that is all good and well. But I am just proofreading the description, with no changes to the actual modification file, and it puts it back up there. This would allow people to intentionally (or unintentionally) consistently have their not-new mod on the new mods list by making meaningless changes to the description or another part of the page. So, what I am suggesting is that mods are only returned there if, as you said, the file itself is updated.
But one could also update the description to be nicer. So far we have not seen any mod doing this for a prolonged period of time, so we don't see this as a problem
Ok.
