Most of our mcreator users are children in my region, but children cannot apply for bank cards, so users who are willing to make donations cannot use the donation channels provided by mcreator normally.
So, can MCreator be uploaded on platforms like Steam?
Does Steam make donations possible?
I think the answer is yes. Steam don't only support bank card but also alipay and wechat.
In my region, china. We are used to use the epay like alipay or wechat to buy our daily-use sundry.
If you have the idea to do it, I can donate 50$ and donate another 50$ next month.
https://mindustrygame.github.io is a good example. Mindustry is an open source game. It can be gained from official website freely. And it also allow you buy it from steam 1$.
Steam also has many open-source tools like godot engine and obs studio.
