ISSUE SOLVED!
MCSkin3D isn't cutting it for me. I have smaller mobs I want to implement but the textures never come out right.
Dose anyone know of a better option?

Theres always Gimp2.0 image editing software and the old fashioned way lol
i just use photoshop for textures :D

If I could do it free hand I would, but it's not really easy.
My problem with McSkin3D is that it mirrors everything and I don't know how to turn that option off.
just make it in nova skin...
OMG NovaSkin is so laggy...I prefer Gimp 2.0 xD
