Title says it all.
It doesn't even close. Heck, i wanted to close MCreaтor with Task Manageг but he doesn't еvеп see MCreator.

Pretty sure forge comes with mcreator, why would you want to drag it into it????
I had the same problem, I recomend trying the other version (zip or exe). I had to force the program to shutdown as well, once I had to force restart computer, haha. I think I had this problem on forge, just remember to run the program as Admin and try the opposite version fo what you are using now.
@#1 It was 64 bit version, not 32 bit.
@#2 I wanted to use 64 bit for testing mods right in mcreator
