1.7.5 Update - Taming?

Hello.

So, maybe this is the hundredth time you've read this kind of topic, but I've been looking for a solution forever and notjing worked so far, so, please, let me ask your help this once.

I am trying to make a mob Owl (I have already made both the custom model and the texture, they fit perfectly) which can be bred and tamed: when it comes to said taming, I'm stuck.

I've seen many of you here replying to just set the AI to Wolf, but the Owl won't tame. I've even tried to mash up Minecraft's EntityTame source code and the code MCreator creates, but I keep getting compilation errors, maybe because I'm not that skilled when it comes to Java.

When I create the Owl, I would like for it to follow the owner and be tamed with standard seeds: it would be nice if it was able to fly, but let's not go too much far with dreams: only being able to make it tamable would be a great thing.

So, how are you developers dealing with the AI? Are you still using the Wolf type? Because it doesn't work for me, am I getting anything wrong?

Also, I don't know if it'll be of any help, but I usually put "Creature" under both "Mob Type" sections.

Thank you for your attention, I hope someone will reply to this, and please excuse any grammar mistakes, for my native language is not English.

Yes, of course, reading about kinds of mobs on the wiki was my first choice, but not much is written there, unfortunately.

May anyone else help me?
