For the trees I used this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WqIb7N9sTU&t=241s.
But instead of making a structure class/element I set the tree to the structure I want. I did this in my biomes element thingy. I then went in the code for that biome and replaced the things as instructed in the video.
For Rotatable blocks I used this thread, https://mcreator.net/forum/39328/nuparu00-or-others-can-rotate-logs
As for ore dictionary I dont remember how but it took ALOT of trial and error, sorry cant help you on that part and hope I helped a bit gl with dragoncraft the second edition
I just posted it as you'd post it as before although yeah the new website update is a bit odd.
So I have somewhat started on the next update for the mod which im hoping makes mining and underground stuff better? Im planning to add all the stone types from Geologicraft also have some new ores and tools. Currently I only have cobalt, aluminum,copper, silver, and tin done. Also im planning to add a couple new biomes? ALSOO what would you guys like to see in the mod im open to suggestions?
So Ive update the mod to 1.12.2 however doing this reset the whole mod-ish, by this I the things I coded in such as block rotation and ore dictionary are gone and I now have to redo all of it again (I'm not looking forward to it). Although I have done some other things instead, obviously the next update will bring new biomes and trees and possibly new ores, mobs, and stones. Anyways I changed the Baobab leaves texture, removed the Meadows biome, I also made the biome names "nicer", also villages spawn in the Praire and Grasslands biome, Poplar trees spawn in the plains biome, Beech trees spawn in the forest biome, Ocelots and Parrots spawn in the Tropics biome, Ocelots spawn in the Praire biome, Parrots spawn in the Royal Forest, I removed 2 unnecessary structures, and yeah don't expect an update anytime soon!.

If lots of mod elements were locked, I can't imagine how much work do you need to do again...
I made the mistake of locking all of my elements to attempt to fix an issue on the last mcreator version....never again
Dont know if i've asked this already but what would you guys like to see in the mod? Or is there anything that need improvement? Btw I added 2 variants of goat into the mod!

So I've made a little progress on the mod-ish and heres the changelog so far. The update is now where near completion and currently lacks block rotation and ore dictionary.
