how do i delete mods if i already exported it to zip or jar

so i was messin around and i made all of my files zip/jar and tested the mods i made 2 didnt work so i deleted them and once i tried to open files and delete files related to my 2 mods i wanted to not exist anymore they still worked :/ please anyone tell me how to delete these files ;-;
