Ideas for new Mcreator Features

Hello! Over the past few days, ive thought of some new features that I feel could make MCreator an even more awesome experience! Some of these ideas are wacky, some are more simplistic, some are just plain goofy!

New Elements:

Custom Weather Element: Upon clicking this tab, the following options would shown to the player: What Biome does this weather occur in? <biome selection> What color does the sky change into? <color selection> How rare is this weather? <percentage> enable particles <checkbox> what particles does this weather use? <particle selection> in the triggers tab, it would have 3: On weather start. On weather stops. Constant Weather tick.

This is most likely a very difficult feature to implement into MCreator, as weather isn't as customizable as most other features in Minecraft, but I feel this could add a whole other level of mod development! Custom Biomes with harsh weather conditions, or new dimensions with acid rain! or perhaps light rain storms.

Melee AND Ranged mob: In Minecraft, theres mainly 2 types of hostile mobs, ranged and melee. Now, their are some exceptions, such as the Warden, Guardiens, and Ender Dragon, but I feel this is where the new option comes in: A mob that both attacks an entity with its fists, and occasionally attacks with projectiles. Now this can be done with some procedures, but for new developers to MCreator, this could be a new easy way to make mobs more interesting to come across. This option would be in the AI and goals area of a custom entity, where you'll check a box. When checked, 2 options are made available. Projectile Entity Uses: <projectile selection> chance for entity to preform ranged attacks: <percentage> This feature wouldn't make much sense in the context of vanilla entitys, but it could be a simple, and easy way for new players to have more advanced mobs in their mod.

New Wood Blocks: In current MCreator, the Wood Pack tool makes leaves, logs, planks, stairs, buttons, pressure plates, and slabs. But is lacking in 2 features: Boats and Signs. I can easily see how difficult making custom signs and boats could be, but this would make the wood pack tool complete, and make it much easier for mod makers.

New Armor Triggers: This is a simple one, simply add new triggers for custom armor. They would be: When Armor piece equip, when armor piece unequip. This could make for some interesting new uses for armor.

New Texture Settings: This is another relatively simple idea: Make it possible for Textures to be flipped horizontally and verticlly. And to add a slider to make textures brighter or darker. This would be a super helpful feature for people who don't want to use external edition software for textures (although I still recomend it)

Nonliving Entity: This is a strange one, but I think it could be SUPER helpful. In Minecraft, of course we have mobs, entities, living creatures. But there are also NONliving entities like End Crystals, Boats, and Minecarts. My suggestion is, have a checkbox for Crystal-like behavior. This will give us some new options for the nonliving entity to heal a specific entity of your choice. Another crystal option would for it to render the beam when it heals the specific entity. (I'm not so sure about that one) The next option would be for a boat like entity, this would have a preset model that looks like a normal Minecraft Boat, but custom models are supported. The boat behavior would cause the entity to be ridable, and to go super slow on land, and fast on the water. Perhaps speed could be customizable but I'm not too sure. The next and final behavior would be Minecart Behavior. This would allow it to travel on rails, and be powered by redstone. I feel customizable speed would be nescisary for it to be a truly fun new feature.

Finally, new preset models for a living entity: I would love to see the re-introduction to the zombie biped model, and the new introduction to the Skeleton Biped Model, both should be able to render armor and weapons, and should have attack animations.

And that's all my ideas for upcoming Mcreator features. lemme know which one was your favorite, and what you would add/change!

:D
