Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
Create Weather
With this, you can create your own weather with sound, rarity, effect if on contact with player, biome it stays is. You can change the sky lightness and let the weather put out anything like rain does to fire. It also lets you spawn entities like lightning or others and make events when it hits. Change the altitude and stuff.
Countdown in stacked events
Useful for tnt, or anything with a countdown.
Create potion effects
This will probably need custom code but..
Easier Custom Code
Sounds stupid but there can be a way for less advanced users. Like scratch, you can make a block type programming thing.
Custom world generation in dimensions
I probably will never be able to use this but others can to make their mod amazing.
Create particles
They are particles.. yeah.
Custom Enchantments
This will require custom code too BUUT you can use the block thing. (Easier Custom Code)
Create your own gamemode
This is kinda useless but it might make an awesome popular mod or something.
- A few small ones:
- Change attack speed,
- add drops to another mob,

- Throw-able items
- Optifine in the forge testing thing for more fps
- Make your own furnace/crafting table thing.
- Modify vanilla items and their recipes
- Rename mod elements
- Enhanced GUI

- Chest generation in structure
- Custom trading in mobs
- Ores in the end
- Change a lot of stuff in the end dimension
- Change NBT Event
- Custom main menu
- Custom portal shape (like the end portal)
- Mobs that have no spawn eggs
- Custom dyes
- Custom music (discs or ambient)
- Blocks emit coloured light (like red)
- Item use cool down (enderpearl)
- Create bows
- Mobs have inverted effects (healing damages them)
- When tool breaks event
- Even more events
- Workaround Make items have enchantments like the enchanted golden apple and nether star *You can use custom code to work around this
- Sit on a block
- Mobs that can actually fly, like a ghast.
- Spawn in the main island in an end dimension world generation thing
- Blocks that are bigger than 1 block
That's it :D
yeaa... This sould make Mcreator better
Thank you for your suggestions. We will try to consider as many of them as possible!
Yey it actually got noticed. By a developer. ;-;
It is relatively easy to make items have the enchantment effect with custom code, but I definitely agree that MCreator should have a check box for it.
My idea went in (Procedure System thing)
YAAAAAAAAAA
An item cooldown would be quite useful. I imagine it could be implemented using the new procedure system utilizing custom variables? Or custom code, but I don't know if a "while" statement would count down at the same rate as the in-game timer (i.e., 20 ticks to a second).
Or, not just simply a cooldown for one item...but say you create a potion. You use the potion in-game, and it (naturally) goes away. Well, now have a cooldown that prevents you from downing *another* potion of the same type until the timer expires.
I wonder if that's even possible...
"Blocks that are bigger than 1 block" is possible if you know how to do it, like the vases in my mod, however it is a bit hard to explain now, I might explain later.
and I think they should add:
else if () {
}
as a procedure block
They do. On the if block, click the settings button.
I like ideas that there can be easier coding, custom death messages, cooldown, that the text inputs save when the text is put there and gamemode. If there would be cooldown in procedures, i would make an potion named: "potion of dimensioning" And that when player drinks it, the player teleports in nether and 10 seconds later in ender 10 other seconds later in surface and 10 seconds so again in nether...
