How to save custom tree design?

I'm trying to create custom trees using custom blocks, and I can't figure out how to save a schematic of the tree. I've tried mcedit and mcedit2, mcedit just saves it as sandstone and dispensers and mcedit2 crashes if I try to open the world. Does anyone know how to help?

As for the main question, use structure blocks. You can get them in-game via commands, and once you get them, place them near the structure, right-click and set all settings. If you set bounding boxes, they will highlight, so you can indicate what is counted for this structure block. After all things are set, just write the name, and use "save" button.

If you do it from MCreator launcher, you will be able to import this structure immediately in MCreator, in structure files list.
