Help with Custom Models

Hello All, I am new to Minecraft Modding despite playing for many years. I am aware Techne doesn't seem to be active. How does one go about importing or even making custom models otherwise? I think Blender is a little too complicated for me at the moment, but I would love to be able to branch out from the default Mob Shapes.

For Mob models I recommend you Tabula from iChun, Its fully supported by MCreator

About Blocks/items etc. I recommend you to begin with MrCrayfish model maker which is simply to be use for new users
the problem with it is that you cant download it from original site due to Link problem but I have uploaded it to my Mediafire
here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nuxcch6uhbqb9t1/mc-pre4.exe/file

If you don't trust this link than you can also use Blockbench which is more advanced tool for modeling objects but it also exports to OBJ format and have some additional features like resizing item/block in hand etc.
Here is ling to Blockbench: https://blockbench.net/

Note that MrCrayfish exports model only to Json File and Blockbench exports to Json and OBJ

And Good luck with Moding :)

Thank you so much for the responses, I have gotten somewhat familiar with Tabula, and it's proven to be a lot of fun. I'll definitely look into the other one!

I really appreciate the quick and helpful replies!
