Since the download on Mcreator is broken, I downloaded techne on a different website and it works fine, but when im importing the models to mcreator, it states that I don't have techne. Is there a way I can make mcreator recognize it? Or is there a way to compress techne files into recognizable files I can use on mcskin3d?
You don't need Techne button to import the model. Ignore this message. Just click on The import model button that does not check for the Techne.
yes, but since the models I made on techne are not java files, mcreator won't recognize it. Is there any way to compress a text document (.txt) into a .java file?
You need to export techne file in Java inside Techne. File -> Export - Java model ...
how did you manage to download techne? (you pass me the link?)
I saw a forum topic a few days back where it was posted. You can try to search for it.
thank you very much
Not sure if its available for Windows but on Mac, I've been using Blockbench. Give it a good google search and when you export, you can export as .json files and I've never had any issues with it.
do you recommend it over the original techne? im going to watch some videos about it now
Download blockbench instead of techne it is way better and now it even supports .java exportation!!! MCreator should switch to blockbench instead of techne in a future update.
thanks! is there any way I can convert my old techne models over to blockbench?
nvm found out how
never mind again it doesn't seem to be working....
