Hmmm... what about a Shadow World mod. You could connect to dungeons in the shadow world dimension by finding doors or gates that connect there and that offer different loot depending on the door's color that indicates it's difficulty and quality/quantity of the loot.
I think that's a good idea, so, you want for me to make a Shadow Dimension?

Wow, revisited this in 2021. Never realised the idea for the mod I'm creating right now may be somehow inspired by mega113422's idea
