I need help creating a custom made chest that uses the same GUI as a regular Minecraft chest does

Hi, I really need help with creating a custom chest that uses the same GUI that you put the items in. I'm trying to make a hidden chest that blends in with different wooden planks and I would like to use the same GUI as the real Minecraft chest but I don't know how. I tried making my own GUI but you have to put one slot in at a time and it is very hard to line up the slots when you are putting them in one by one. Thanks for any help!
