Textures not applying correctly
Sun, 02/17/2019 - 10:59 (edited)

I have made a few custom modelled mobs before and they worked perfectly fine. On my most recent mob, however, the textures aren't applying correctly. It seems like the texture is being applied to each face of the model. ie: the texture file is being stretched to fit each side. I use Techne to make models and map the textures I make in paint.net.

While I personally do not…

While I personally do not use Techne, there are some other options that may help. I use Tabula, which is an in-game modeler for Minecraft. You can create your own model, or edit pre-existing models and import custom mob textures. Best part is, Tabula can export Java models, which are (obviously) compatible for MCreator.

I would link, but I feel that is not allowed. :^) A simple Google search of "Tabula Minecraft" will help out if you want to try that out.
