How to make a generated structure using your modded custom blocks easily

I am making a Minecraft mod that requires a generated structure. However I am using the blocks in my mod to make the structure and I am using the latest version of mcreator for 1.11.2 and I was just wondering the most easiest way to do that.

Also could you just import your mod to mcedit and export it that way?

The version of mcreator that runs on 1.11.2 is outdated and is not supported much if at all at this point, I recommend you to move on the the newest version of mcreator 1.8.3 (for 1.12.2) in which many things have changed over the time, also if you do want to do this, I recommend you to create your mod with just the blocks, or whatever progress you have made so far, build your structures, get a schematic of it, and then put it into the mod. I believe this is what you meant, your explenation wasn't very clear, but I hope it helps. If it is not what you are looking for, let me know.
