Hey so the update is great but I really need a tutorial or something like that for making custom armor models since I'm sorta confused with it, I've coded custom armor models in the past but I wanna see how this function works in mcreator
Basically, you make a model for the mob (JAVA) which is based on the biped model. Then you group all armor parts together, for each part of the armor a new group.
Then you select these groups in MCreator armor maker as armor parts.
I'm using Techne to create my armor model. I'm making, specifically, a jetpack that can go onto your chestpiece - I'm not utilizing the other parts of armor. I use multiple cubes to make the design, and have them grouped together under a folder in Techne. When I go to create the armor and select the model, it gives me another option for which part of the model to use. I want to use the entire model, not just one cube, is there a way to fix this?
I suggest you to use Blockbench which supports groups and model pieces that will move together.
