I know I can detect for item damage but what is the the damage limit or is it the same values we input in when creating armor damage Value? example (helmet,body,leggings,boots) 1,3,2,1 "I think that is the one for leather armor"

I am working on armor that grows and if its damage it starts taking food out of your inventory and if you have no food it takes your life and if your health is too low it will start dieing off. I was trying to set it so I can detect if item/armor damage is at 50% or lower so that it can start the recover prosses.
I am sorry I keep forgetting about what you told me awhile ago and I was like I understand and then forget there is a fourm for this stuff.
