Mcreator Not Responding

I Have been at this all day and im unsure if its even an issue with my computer. I'm on a brand new Macbook pro and i've run Mcreator plenty of times before.

I loaded it up today and the pop up for "Creating a new workspace" popped up, after inputting the mods name and clicking create it stops responding.

if i do any other pop up it also stops responding.

it will still end up creating a "workspace" in the folder but i cannot open this workspace without it freezing.

I've given Mcreator full disk access and wiped MCreator off my computer completely and re-installed, Shut Down, Etc. no matter what version I install I have the same outcome.
